 Zach Ahrens is our Planet CPU greeter and Sales Manager, the big grin behind the desk who reassures everyone who walks in our door that they’re in the right place. He’s right. After more than ten years connected to our team, Zach has the confidence to know that our team of technicians will solve your computer requirements (probably because they never let him help), and if it’s computer hardware, software or accessories you need, he’s the expert. Either way, you just can’t help but like this guy. He’s a lot like his favorite movie character Ferris Bueller, positive and charming, but certainly not fake. Zach understands that customers aren’t strangers; they’re the future of our business. He knows our customers need to be heard, respected and treated with care. It’s about being on common ground. And he never forgets a face.
He may be on the ground, but sometimes his head is in the clouds, not metaphorically, but literally. Zach is actively pursuing his dream to become a helicopter pilot. We like his ambition. Though we know the day will come when he will fly off to explore the friendly skies, we know he is committed to our success here, because over the last few years, Zach has travelled off the beaten paths around Europe, China and even here at home, taking in the sights and bringing those experiences back to us. He expands our horizons and we keep him away from the tools. It works for us.
